As James Bond returns for his 25th adventure, Eon Productions and partners MGM, Universal Pictures International and United Artists Releasing have announced a competition to design a Bond poster.

They would like young creators to design a unique poster inspired by the Daniel Craig films that is eye-catching and undeniably Bond.

Fiver winners will each receive £2,000, while another twenty finalists will each receive £250.

With so much fan art produced the competition should be popular. However, make sure you read and agree to the small print. One paragraph in particular seems rather unfavourable:

Please note it is a condition of entry that all rights, including, intellectual property rights to the submitted work (regardless of whether chosen as a Selected Creator) will become the property of MGM upon submission.

That means whether or not your art is selected for a cash prize, you must sign your rights over to MGM.

They can use it for whatever they like and you get nothing in return. And you won’t have the rights to your artwork after the winners are announced.

If that’s all ok with you then click here to find out what you need to do to enter
