Who wrote James Bond?
The original James Bond books were written by Ian Fleming, who worked in Naval Intelligence during the Second World War. He wrote 12 Bond novels and two collections of short stories. Since then a number of other authors have written additional Bond adventures.
Who were James Bond’s parents?
Toward the end of You Only Live Twice, it was revealed that Bond’s parents were Andrew Bond and Monique Delacroix. His father was a Scot who worked for Vickers and his mother was from the Swiss Canton de Vaud.
How did James Bond’s parents die?
According to James Bond’s (premature) obituary in the 12th James Bond book, You Only Live Twice (1964), his parents were killed in a climbing accident in the Aiguilles Rouges near Chamonix in the French Alps.
Who was James Bond married to?
In On Her Majesty’s Secret Service Bond married Contessa Teresa di Vicenzo. She is the daughter of Marc-Ange Draco, the head of a Corsican crime syndicate, the Union Corse. She is the widow of a fast-living Italian count, hence the title, but is usually known simply as Tracy.

There are currently 24 movies in the series produced by Eon Productions. However, there were also two other films produced separately, plus a 1954 television production of Casino Royale.
Which James Bond movie should I watch first?
While it would be good to start at the beginning and work your way through all the movies in order, that’s not particularly convenient for most people. The best idea is to start with whatever Bond movie you can get your hands on. That worked for most Bond fans!

Is it possible to purchase posters of all of the Bond films? And if so, where are they available?

As we’re all awaiting the release of No Time To Die, no doubt its been delayed and plagued by a number of issues: from storylines changing, plots not developed, directors leaving, writers conflicting, actors injured, and now the corunna virus – With Craig at the helm we’ve had A Bond release feature about evert 3-4 years give or take, and yet now even longer. Also added in the mix have been with alleged law suits battling in courts over the movie rights with EON, MGM, and even Sony pictures to I think.
What used to be seeing a new Bond flick every 2 years has turned into almost 20 years from not having a new Bond picture come out every other year. And though budget plays a factor as does scouting locations, available actors, and so forth – one thing changed constantly. And that being the movies plot or script.
Now assuming there were no alleged law suits ever tied up in court – coincidentally if the producers had gone with the continuation James Bond novels from John Gardner starting after Licence To Kill, they would have had all of his novelizations filmed and not have to worry about a story line other than forming a script to film off of his titled novels.
And in retrospect, the same timing could have occured if after Licence To Kill, the producers decided to film all of Benson’s novels followed by Amis, Faulks, Deaver, Boyd, & maybe 1 iteration from Horowitz but not from Gardner, then again from that alloted time span – we would have seen all those novels turned into pictures; and not having to worry about what the plot would be in the next Bond film as its story was already written out from a previous novel.
To this day though, such a waste has gone by that I think we’ll never see the light of day from the non Fleming books to be filmed and seen into a motion picture.
For this to happen I believe the Broccolis would have to sell the entire franchise and all its rights to someone else who would be interested enough to film them, and of course for a movie studio willing to finance those for production.

My apologies from up above. Sometimes trying to write text from a very small text box on an android phone is tricky as my thumbs are bigger than the key strokes. Inadvertently, the submit button was engaged when it should not have been.
My question is although it was decided long ago in history for EON to co-produce with McClory to film Thunderball,
He also signed a 10 year contract not to do anything else with James Bond or Spectre affiliated during that time span without EONs consent. He agreed. After 10 years, one would think he is free and eligible from his contract as he fulfilled it and further, he allowed EON to use the Blofeld and Spectre characters.
But then I honestly can’t see why EON would continue to battle him in court when he obliged with their terms from 10 years prior before.
Furthermore, he was willing to re-film or re-make Thunderball again with a new working title 1st perhaps of Warhead and 2nd then later Never Say Never Again.
My question is rather than impose an injunction from the film being made, why didn’t Broccoli and EON join forces and help to co-produce McClorys film Never Say Never Again?
Surely this would have made a great addition to their official EON James Bond series.
Personally that was a mistake on their part. Never Say Never Again for an unofficial James Bond movie was indeed a good Bind film. However though, it was nearly as good as its predecessor Thunderball.
