World Martini Day

World Martini Day is celebrated every year on 19th June. So, whether you like it made from vodka or gin, shaken or stirred, today is the day to celebrate the iconic cocktail.

In Live And Let Die (1954), 007 instructs Solitaire to mix martinis from six parts vodka to one part vermouth.

Another option is the Vesper, which first appeared in the novel Casino Royale (1953). 007 also drank Vespers in the 2006 film as well as Quantum of Solace (2008). You’ll find the recipe for the Vesper here.
