Joe Don Baker, who is one of the handful of actors to have appeared in more than one film playing different roles, was born in Texas in 12th February 1936.

Often appearing in television roles, his first major film was Cool Hand Luke (1967) with Paul Newman.

He got the role of Brad Whitaker in The Living Daylights (1987) but also appeared in Goldeneye (1995) as CIA agent Jack Wade.
