The Daily Mail discusses product placement in Skyfall

The Daily Mail has published an article about product placement inSkyfall. The article, which includes a new photo of Daniel Craig with a bottle of Heineken in his hand, says that Bond fans are likely to be shaken and stirred by this exclusive photo as it suggests that Bond has swapped his vodka martinis for the Dutch beer.

The article goes on to talk about some of the other brands that have deals for Skyfall, and how such product placement deals rarely involve payment upfront, rather they are crosspromotional deals.

Producer Michael G Wilson is quoted as saying that Ian Fleming often used brands in his books and that the filmmakers tried to only include brands that fitted Bond.
