Writing’s on the Wall, Sam Smith’s theme to SPECTRE, has become the first ever James Bond theme song to reach the top spot in the UK music charts.
According to the BBC the two previous highest-charting Bond themes were Adele’s Skyfall and Duran Duran’s A View To A Kill, which both made second place in the charts. In total 70,000 copies of the track were bought.
