Scenes for new James Bond film Skyfall shot near Buachaille Etive Mor in Highlands [The Daily Record]

The Skyfall second unit was in Scotland yesterday to shoot a chase involving James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5. Two DB5s were driven along the A82 near the peak of Buachaille Etive Mor. The Daily record notes:

Staff working on the latest movie in the 007 franchise shot on Highland locations in Glencoe and nearby Dalness Lodge in Glen Etive.

Onlookers watched filmmakers drive two identical classic Aston Martin DB5’s along the A82 from their base at Glencoe’s ski centre car park.

The article goes on to mention that Dalness Lodge was once owned by Ian Fleming’s family.
