Read Indian Railways derail Bond plan [The Times of India]

Plans to shoot on location in India have been scrapped according to India Take One Productions, who were dealing with negociations. Bond 23 will instead shoot in a backup location, South Africa. An article in The Times of India states:

After weeks of reports about the various locations in India that had been selected for the shoot of “Bond 23”,TOI has learnt that the film’s production house has decided to pull out of shooting in India altogether.

The probable reason – delayed permissions. The production house sent official communication of the same to the Indian production team on Thursday.
