While Ralph Fiennes has previously made it known that he is a fan of Ian Fleming’s James Bond books, little has been let on about his character in Skyfall. In a recent interview with The Daily Record to promote his directorial début Coriolanus he is quoted as saying:
“I used to be a complete nerd about the books and the detail in them. They are fantastic.”
But when asked about his character in Skyfall he adds:
Smiling, he said: “I’m allowed to say that I’m a government agent.”
While that doesn’t give much away at all, it does seem to suggest that the rumours of him playing Blofeld are incorrect.
