Marvin Hamlisch: The Spy Who Loved Me composer dies

Marvin Hamlisch, composer of many film scores including The Spy Who Loved Me, has died in Los Angeles on Monday following a short illness, according to his family.

In addition to Roger Moore’s third outing as James Bond, for which he penned “Nobody Does It Better”, Hamlisch worked on more than 40 film scores including The Sting. In the course of his career he won three Oscars, four Emmys, a Tony and three Golden Globes.
