Between July and September Books About Town displayed 50 “book benches” around London to promote literacy, including one celebrating the James Bond stories, designed by Freyja Dean, which was displayed in Bloomsbury Square Gardens.

The book benches are now due to be sold for auction, with proceeds going to the National Literacy Trust, a charity that aims to raise the literacy levels of disadvantaged children and young people.

The auction will take place on the evening of October 7th at the Southbank Centre, but you can also bid online by following the link below. The James Bond book bench is Lot 30.
