It has been announced that after nearly 40 years of being shown on ITV the James Bond films are to move to Sky after coming to an agreement with MGM. The move has angered many fans who have become accustomed to watching the traditional bank holiday Bond. According to The Mail:
Dr No was the first James Bond movie to be shown on British television when it was broadcast in 1975 by ITV.
It has since shown every one of the 22 in the official franchise, with some of them being repeated time and again.
But ITV’s James Bond deal with movie distributor MGM Worldwide runs out this summer and Sky has snatched the rights.

Of course I have DVDs and Blu Rays but I still like to see them on TV. NOT EVERYONE HAS ACCESS TO SKY !!

Nooooooo! That’s another tradition gone. I love switching the tv on and finding a Bond Movie playing on ITV. Even though I have the dvds I always end up watching no matter where I join the film. Skyfall??????
