While much of the media has been reporting that Adele has been confirmed for the Skyfall title song, the truth is that neither Adele nor the producers of the forthcoming James Bond film have confirmed anything to date. There have been strong indications, such as Adele being seen at a recording studio, but still that confirms nothing.
However, the official 007.com website has an image of what appears to be the cover for the single, which sure enough bears Adele’s name and photo.
This is as good as it gets as being confirmation, without actually been confirmed. It should be noted that the image, which we have shown above, has not actually been published on the 007 website, rather it is in one of the image directories.
While another possible explanation is that Eon Productions is trying to mislead us, how likely is that?
