Joseph Darlington, AKA Head of Section at Being James Bond, shares his collection.
When and how did you first get bitten by the Bond bug?
Summer of 1984 when Octopussy was being played on HBO once or twice a day. I’ve had the Bond bug ever since.
What’s your favourite item in your collection and why?
The blue Sunspel polo from Casino Royale. I’ve always tried to purchase clothes that were similar to Bond’s, but I think this was the first time I got my hands on the real thing! Plus, it inspires me to do curls.
What item would you most like to add?
Palmyra.
What’s your biggest obstacle to collecting, or is there a tip you’d like to share?
It’s tough to shop in the same stores as Daniel Craig, but luckily there are always some frugal alternatives, and a few highly skilled tailors who do some awesome replica clothing.
Anything else?
Collecting James Bond means different things to different people, but my favorite Bond collectables are the memories! Bond experiences, Bond places, and Bond friends, have truly been highlights of my life! Thank you, 007!

I am now 72 yrs old , and I have every book written on 007 every book also other ones by I F, cuff links , lighter cig case omega watch I have also met 3 of the Bonds S C , P B , R M , regards james g lawless , inverness , scotland ..
